Our Story: Why We Took Over La Esquina

La Esquina has been a Los Gatos fixture for years, but something was missing. We saw a restaurant with potential — a great location, loyal customers, and a menu that could be so much more. So we bought it, rebuilt the kitchen standards, and started cooking the way Mexican food should be cooked: fresh, from scratch, with no shortcuts. We're not interested in being just another taco spot. We want to be the place you come back to because the food is that good. The kind of place where you know your carnitas were just pulled from the pot, your salsa was made this morning, and your meal was cooked for you — not reheated from a batch made hours ago.
